Admission Requirements:


  • Age 18 or over
  • Alberta high school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Alberta mature student with Canadian Adult Achievement(CAAT)test score 450 or more
  • CLBA -7 in all brand for non Canadian PR, Citizens or Refuges with valid status.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Successful completion of admission interview and testing for adequate entry-level skills
  • A clear and relevant Criminal Records Check
  • A good command of the English language
  • An adequate level of physical health to meet requirements of the program and perspective employment.

Program Highlights


Peerless Training Institute's Medical Office Assistant Certificate Program will help you to develop proficiency as a Medical Office Assistant in a wide variety areas ranging from medical terminology to clinical office procedures.

Be introduced to medical office procedures. You will study computer software applications used in medical office settings, office administration, patient relations and basic office accounting.

Develop your communication and customer service skills to be able to meet various patient needs in a dynamic medical office setting

Learn medical terminology used in the medical field and anatomy and physiology basics in order to understand the structure, purpose and function of the various body systems
